Basic Requirements

Comply with the NCCCO’s Substance Abuse Policy
Meet certain physical/medical requirements
Be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements
No evidence of seizures or loss of physical control
Normal depth perception and field of vision
Sufficient strength, endurance, coordination, and reaction time to meet operational demands
Adequate hearing (with or without hearing aid)
Ability to distinguish colors
20/30 vision in one eye and 20/50 in the other (with or without corrective lenses)

About Crane Safety Consultants
Crane Safety Consultants offers a two-day class to prepare candidates for the NCCCO written exam, taught by a world-class instructor with 40 years of crane operating experience under his belt.
Each course is designed to teach candidates how to understand and read charts, properly set up cranes, and become familiar with safety regulations and state laws governing crane operation, and is backed by our test pass guarantee.
After the course is completed, Crane Safety Consultants will handle the scheduling of the NCCCO test date for each candidate and act as site coordinator. We are also accredited to perform practical exams. Both practical and written exams can be done at our location or yours.
